Medical products are close to our heart. We have decades of experience in the medical field, and bring that passion to our designs. Medical interfaces are particularly fun to design because they involve a variety of interaction models including glove-friendly touch-screens, handpieces, footswitches and even voice command.

They also pose special challenges because they must clearly convey life-saving information, instill confidence in operator input and provide unambiguous feedback. To ensure that we accommodate all 3, we have an approach that takes a holistic look at the user experience, and examines the interaction between industrial design, system requirements and the on-screen user interface.

We can help from beginning to end including user research, UI design, prototype evaluation and usability testing. We also have a deep understanding of the regulatory environment here in the US and abroad, and can lend a hand with validation and other regulatory compliance activities.
